Our Advertiser
A flake cut rolling tobacco, from Republic, that's been around for a long time. I'm not aware of any online retailers that stock it.

I can still get this stuff locally for little over a buck an ounce. Not bad tobacco really. Clean, in look and taste. Not bad at all. The new packages I saw this week look to be updated from the stuff I used to buy. ( I went to an outta my way smoke shop today in search of McClintock FF cans )

our advertiser by republic tobacco is something I didn't see on the list although I can buy at the local smoke shop for about a dollar for an ounce. if somebody was used to something like old gold or anything strictly carolina tobaccos would like this one

I've never seen any reviews about Our Advertiser anywhere, but since it sounds similar to D&R's Athey, I was wondering if there were any other "chipped" or "flake" cut tobaccos out there worth mentioning. I recall seeing a pouch of Bull Durham from a grocery store about 15yrs ago that had probably sat there for 15yrs & it was cut the same as Our Advertiser. Our Advertiser has nothing special going for it except the pouches are a full oz instead of other Republic 3/4 oz pouches, which is only substantial if you're flat broke.
