Butterfly

A unique, pervasively strong smelling/tasting, dark, fine-cut, Javanese shag. Straight, even the 'mild' is to much for me. Diluted its interesting but a little too 'different' to keep my interest. Halfzware and Mild, pouches only, ~$16LB.

I know these posts are old so I don't know if this message will get posted or not. But anyways, I really miss being able to buy and smoke Butterfly tobacco. And it's all because of the DAMN government always has to stick their damn noses into everything. Tax the shit out of this and tax the shit out of that. Constantly telling you what you can and cannot do. When are they ever going to quit screwing people over??
So now because of those jerks I can't find Butterfly anywhere.

Butterfly Halfzware

Currently working through a pouch, it is strong, seems to be topped with some sort of aromatic (tonquin? vanilla?) that reminds me of pipe tobacco. Very moist in the pouch but burns well. Probably too much topping to this to smoke it every day but it is nice and different from my usual American cigs.

I have not seen this at the local tobacco stores or lil brown recently. And it is no wonder why. After a few cigs it just burns out the taste buds with it being so stronly flavored. I recommend Indo Shag.

While this isn't my main smoke, its nice once in a while. As I related below. At first it was REALY strong. But now I can smoke it unfiltered just fine. It has an interesting flavor. I find its nice in a menthol tube. I was thinking this might go well with some ground clove. I might give that a try and see how that works out.

Butterfly Halfzware

Recently added half an ounce to an 8 ounce batch I was blending. It gave my cigs a nice, interesting flavor, but after four days I'm really tired of it.

You know that fuzzy feeling you get in your mouth when you smoke a pipe? That is what I get after my third or fourth cig of the day. It may be some aromatic additive, also found in pipe tobacco.

I will, also, keep some around for when I want 'something different'.

I tried some and it was way strong. I think maby mixing it with other tobaccos would be good. I am thinking of mixing it with Zen light. It was also sugested to me that butterfly would be good in a pipe. I might have to try it out of a pipe.
