I am not sure if this is the case, but sometimes people mistake this site as a direct connection to the manufacturers, distributors, etc. of the tobacco they are interested in. This is not the case.

My apologies if I am wrong about your post.

The best advice I can give you is to use the contact information listed at the top of the page for SX Brands and let them know you have a problem with their product.

If that doesn't get satisfaction, the only other option is to find another product.

Hair or any other unwanted substance in my tobacco is good cause to quit buying that product.

If it's really a LOT of Hair... she could make a wig? :)

What can you do about it?
Throw It Out!

If you paid by Credit Card?
Stop Payment :)

I've never even seen the name Criss Cross Tobacco let alone smoked it.
I would suggest that unless you thought this was some sort of esoteric high end tobacco, that you move more into the main stream OR observe a very basic principle....

Make Harriet Happy Huff A Havana! :)

OK I think I see part of the problem for this particular brand. I also have found hair in the tobacco. I also want to note that I have bought it new and found the tobacco to be all dried out upon opening it. On the packaging there is no address what-so-ever. No company name, no consumer information address or phone number. If it was not for this web site I don't think I would even know who was putting this product out. I was just intending to write a complaint to the company when I found upon examination of the package there was no way of knowing who to contact. Simply putting in the Criss-Cross tobacco in a search will not bring up any company information either. I find this web site to be very helpful in informing the public of the available products out there for the consumers. Thanks for the informative web site. I understand this is not the Criss-Cross company. However any information that would help the consumer to get in contact with the company that is putting it out would be wonderful. If that is the phone number and address above it did not pull up the company name with just the address. I will try the phone number during business hours.
Again Thank YOU for this wonderful site.

Have been using Criss-Cross for a while now. Use both regular light and menthol light with tubes of the same company. No problems of any kind. Use both hand loader and Top-O- Matic. This is a Virgina Bright sweet. This has become a mid popular product here in Northwest PA under $11 a pound. Seems to be liked by people that used RJR products such as Doral. Where McClintock seems to be a favorite of former Marlboro users. Myself a former Marlboro guy found myself prefering the Criss-Cross. CC seems close to Top in taste, smoothness and sweetness. The product also hydrates quite well but as always be careful.
