Erp! I'm in WA state and had not considered it would be illegal to purchase out-of-state online. Wondering what the penalty might be, or will vendors simply not ship here?

As for WA shops, I haven't found any that carry D&R. I called their shop in NC and they couldn't tell me what PNW shops they distribute to so I just started phoning all the shops in the Seattle area. None had even heard of D&R.

My favorite local shop is the Bellevue Tobacco Patch. They carry Peter Stokkebye and some other higher end loose tobaccos. The shop keeper is wonderful although he wasn't keen on my suggestion to carry D&R.

Otherwise, if you can get to Portland OR, I highly recommend 82nd Ave Tobacco & Pipe. They carry an excellent range of D&R, supplies, and fantastic service. I went in to buy a couple cartons of the American Spirits I was smoking and to ask about RYO which I had not tried yet. They made me a sample pack of 6 varieties of loose to try out - at no cost - and helped me select papers and filters. A+++

Dee you can order online however you are not charged the tax on it.Eventually..maybe..you could get a bill for the taxes on your purchases from washington state if they ever found out.Ive been checking and I think American thrust might be charging the taxes now for WA. But they are $%#@# High!Thank you for the rec. on the Portland store, its worth a drive down there if I can buy some D&R.What are you RYO with now? (brand?)

Note that the prices in the actual 82nd Ave. shop in Portland will be significantly higher than the online prices. The online prices do not include the state of Oregon's 65% wholesale tax on pipe tobacco, or the state sales tax. Basically, you're going to be looking at around $50/$55 for a 14oz. bag.

Ah gotcha on the state tax.

I've mostly been rolling American Spirit Organic and Peter Stokkebye Danish.   I keep getting geared to order D&R online, but I'm somewhat in denial that I am a smoker... easier to pretend I'm going to quit with just a quick pouch purchase right? LOL.

Lilbrown is located in Washington state and they do ship within the state. No D&R though.
