just want to say I find you very interesting and obviously extremely talented
I am fascinated reading your comments
I have to say personally I rather want the Magnum to be as you say it is, though as I said before I hope it's not too bad since a lot of people want to switch to that
I will miss your input

Thank you, mike c.
I too, wanted the Magnum to be a success. My hopper/feeder system and the Magnum, I believe, would have made a nice, affordable, and successful machine.
In view of Magnum's basic concept and my experiments.... I contacted magnum and stated my concerns and made some design change recommendations that I believed would correct the over-compaction, tobacco plug falling off the end when ejected and loose tobacco which can cause even more hazards when lighting.
They was not interested, and advised me that they were going with what they had. Had Magnum been receptive to my suggestions, I would have given them photos and details on my hopper/feeder....
I can't do anymore than that.

Just like here.... After stating my opinions about the Magnum....I got a lot of insults and negative feedback, no matter how much I tried to fit in. So if I get negativity on simple things, I keep the rest to myself.

I still use my Hand crank as much if not more than my FreshChoice machine....It is more convenient and faster. I thought about giving the FC to my Son, but thought he might be offended and ask me what he did to me to deserve that (lol).
So..... I will keep the FC to remind me not to be too quick/stupid to buy something like that again without researching it out. I have dismantled it and made some improvements, but until I make a major change, it still chops tobacco to short/fine..... As we all know, the shorter/finer the tobacco, the quicker it dries out.
