I like them as well. The owner of my tobacco shop gave me a box to try out. With a 250 count, I think I'm going to start buying these.

What was the reason Doug gave for replacing the 17mm filter with a 20mm in the Vera Cruz Nocturne? To appeal to the newbie? Seems others don't follow his line of reasoning. Mike

I haven't heard. Personally, I think the VC Nocturnes need the denser filter like their Elegante. I was able to get some VC samples from American Thrust before I ordered the new ones. The ones that AT sent me (I bought 2 smoky cases and they filled them with tubes) were the older version and I loved them. They tasted better.

The new VC with 20mm filters taste fair, but I'd rather use plain Premiers than these. I don't know if the paper changed or not, but they are sensitive to humidity as I posted before. Or at-least that's what I've found. I think if I use these in the future, I'm gonna store my finished sticks where they can draw a little humidity. It works for me.

Otherwise, I will stick to these Rave tubes for now. I've been enjoying these all day. A very clean smoking tube. Very neutral in taste.

I liked the old VC N! These new VC N seem to be made of--looks like light grade construction paper. And, the dye washes out of them.:-( Thanks for the tip--I'll try the Rave and see. Mike

Where can I buy these tubes on-line? There are no tobacco stores near me.

I don't know who carries the Rave tubes online. Zen is made by the same company, same exact tube. Available at smoker's outlet:

Well thank you Scott Johnson for this info. I just received a box of Zen lights, along with a couple of other items from Smokers Outlet.
These Zen lights are much better than the ZigZags. I haven't tried the full flavors yet but I'm sure they'll be good.
They leave no aftertaste, like the Z-Zs do.

if you look further into reality, and were to count the "plugs" Zen and now Rave "shells" have gotten us talking, the math alone should tell you something.
I am however, having no complaint with the Rizla FF burning as I type, but if the filter paper gets any squish in it, there may be a follow up.....
