Imperial Tobacco
"We are the world's fourth largest international tobacco company."
While they have a strong US presence (as RBA) with tubes and machines (Premier, Rizla, etc.), none of their MYO tobaccos are currently imported to the US. This could change now that they own Commonwealth Brands.
Drum (original, not Republic's US Drum)
Golden Virginia (not Conwood - Lane's)

This along, with the Commonwealth deal (below), _could_ lead to renewed US distribution of Gauloises, Drum (UK) and Golden Virginia (UK) brand tobaccos.

Well, it happened (Dominick's post, below). In April Imperial Tobacco bought Commonwealth Brands (fourth largest US cigarette manufacturer and US distributor for Stokkebye's McClintock and Bali brands). [link] The only thing I found relating to MYO is that "Commonwealth's factory is big enough to also introduce loose tobacco and roll-your-own products, Davis [Imperial CEO] said." [link]

Imperial Tobacco May Enter U.S. as Legal Risks Drop, Davis Says
Aug. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Imperial Tobacco Group Plc, the maker of West and Davidoff cigarettes, may sell tobacco products in the U.S. for the first time as legal risks there decline and U.K. consumption slows, Chief Executive Officer Gareth Davis said.

They make Drum and Golden Virginia, neither of which is imported to the US. US Drum is made by Republic/Top Tobacco. I don't know if Lane's Golden Virginia is related in any way to Imperial's. Currently Imperial (via RBA) is only involved in the US tube (Rizla, Premier, ElRey) and machine (Premiers, Excel) markets...They also make the Smoky cases.

The one tobacco I miss from when I lived in London was Drum Milde... I'd love to see *real* Drum over here; at least the Milde (or Gold, as I believe it's called now).
