Cheap Tobacco outlet stores here in Northern Ohio has started carrying a House Blend called "Cheap Tobacco". Comes packaged in 6 Oz. and 1 Lb. pouches in Full Flavor, Light and menthol. I bought a 6 Oz. FF! The tobacco has a light scent, and looks fairly clean. I can't see any shake in my sample, and it's a dark colored blend. It injects easily, and causes a distinct reaction on the back of the throat from the very first draw. Compared to Midnight Special, I would consider it slightly harsh, but still a good buy at $6 bucks a pouch.

I'm very curious about something, and I hope someone can help me out!
The label is plain, with only the [ TP-NC-644 ] mark to give any hint of the origin of the tobacco. Does anyone anything about this mark, and what it means? Thanks, Mike

When looking for the manufacturer of a brand I do a '[brand] MSA' search. The Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement (MSA) is a tax on manufacturers and States keep lists of (non-)participating manufacturers and their brands.

Just came across this post, TP-NC is Tax paid North Carolina, not sure about the numbers.
