North
The smell/taste reminds me of Sixty-1 (also distributed by Nationwide). A reasonably clean blend of medium cut short strand tobacco. One of the few tobaccos I don't really care for. Low ~$10lb.

I have to agree, I didn't care for it either. I bought a 6 oz tube and it only took one cigarette for me to find that I didn't like the taste.

After running low on tobacco, while waiting for an order, I decided to pull out my can of North and give it another try. O.K., I was desperate, I was down to two smokes, and the only tobaccos in town are Bugler and Top at $12.00 a can.

Maybe it aged or something, but blended with Drum and Rambeck it was smokable.- Re: North Update

I'm thinking that, when desperation is upon, anything tastes better than nothing.

This is the same principle behind "They all get better at closing time" and "A 2 at 10 becomes a 10 at 2." ;-)- Re: Re: North Update

Ha. Point well made.

But even as bad as it is, it's still better than 95% of all pre-made cigs.- Re: Re: North Update
