Blue rizla (the newer one)
Posted by Jennifer on Sunday, 24-Jun-2007
The blue rizla [link] injector is by far the best hand held injector I have ever used. It's very well built and durable. I also really appreciate the 'rail' system it uses to keep it closed. You no longer need downward pressure to keep the injector closed.
Until I can afford to replace the busted supermatic 2 I tossed out, this is what I use to inject. I usually carry it in my purse along with some tobacco and tubes. This is the ONLY hand held injector I would recommend to anyone.

Hey Jennifer, I really enjoyed this post, because when I was a HH user, Rizla had become my strict favorite as well....

so you're a "cutting edge" chick huh!!! I'm impressed....
well I personally am a little disappointed that somebody from the company showed up and "fibbed" to us (possibly) about the "new" model we were about to get....I went to put the link up here (again) and have discovered it no longer hosts the image.....unless what we were being shown was another "cig size" device, it seems the original "space age" looking design was scrapped and went the way of the "future automobiles" that I used to look at in a book in the early 70's when I was "actually" a kid.......
my cherished and "beloved" Rizla original FF model, which is probably worth more than a Supermatic now, very curiously came with 2 different nozzle designs (not on the same one, of course)....one of them has a nozzle like yours that is removable by pulling it up and out from the top, like yours, and like the previous blue model, and like the cig size model, but the rarer one, and what I believe was the first design, came with a nozzle that has to be pulled out, and that nozzle was LARGER in diameter....at the time, I used a lot of Rizla "cig size" and I removed it and replaced it with a slightly smaller one (that matched the size of the later model and all others following), and when it was removed it was sadly destroyed, and now I regret it, and have never been able to locate and replace it.....also, the original FF model (which came with a large white base/handle) came in the color blue as well (at some point), but I never got one because the one site I found it on had sold out, etc....if any of you ever see either of these, please buy them, if nothing else for me....they are very rare...I have been watching eBay almost the entire 6-plus months I have been here on Dalrun Forum, and not a one.....weird.....looks like the new design that you have is a spin on the "cig size" model...I wonder how it could be actually better than the previous FF one....hmm....also, I bet your Supermatic simply has a broken part that could be replaced fairly cheap as opposed to buying a whole new machine, if that is what you were planning, etc....- Re: Blue rizla (the newer one)

Get a Gizeh Silver Tip Boy and you'll retire your Blue Rizla.

I have a couple "Cigarettes Cheaper" HH's that are manufactured by Gizeh, and I have always considered them to be identical to the Silver Tip Boy,,,,,could you refresh me as to what makes this better than "little blue"??

Actually they are almost identical and I suspect they are made by the same manufacturer. The biggest differences are that the action on the Gizeh seems smoother than it does on the Rizla. The Gizeh has grippers all the way down the sides, the Rizla only has them about 1/3 of the way from the front. If you use it on a table this is no big deal but if you use it in your hands it is. On the Gizeh the place where you put the first joint of your index finger to lock the lid down is straight, on the Rizla it's curved. The first joint of my index finger is straight, not curved so it fits better. The Rizla has grippers where you put your thumb to slide the action back, the Gizeh is smooth with a small indent. There is no need for grippers there as the action is straight back, the only purpose the grippers there serve is to irritate the end of your thumb. Finally...when locked down there is less play on the top on the Gizeh than there is on the Rizla. And the Gizeh is just.....well.....mo prettier.

I'm cool with it all

I always used them in my hand and I thought the Rizla "felt" better, better quality, etc...they both work fine though, as far as those go..
no argument (other than appearance which is subjective)

forgot to say thanks for responding, and nicely quick, thanks, and just for chaos sake.....the mysterious "D", whom I'll call "Delores", checks out pretty well "upstairs", and she's got that "big city" Golden Productor....I seem to remember reading that it indeed had the finest manufacturing/functionality of the plastic machines....and if it's hangin' tough next to a Topomatic I am convinced there is something to it.....

I agree 100% Smokin n Jokin. While I mostly hand roll cigarettes I do enjoy a filtered smoke from time to time, not wanting to spend $40 on a machine I bought a Gizeh injector from LBSS. The one thing I didn't like about it was the lack of a tamp (I think that's what it's called). Luckily I had one from my Bugler injector which for the record is a piece of junk.
