Am I doing something wrong? What do Indiana cig/OTP taxes have to do with a New Hampshire smoking ban and what do new federal taxes have to do with tobacco growing (a logical spin-off on the MSA topic)? I'm not pointing any fingers, just puzzled and moving posts to appropriate locations gets tiring.
Please read the page tile and description on posting pages. The description now includes links to take you up the posting tree (e.g. growing > MSA > Politics and Smoking Ban > Politics).
You can also get to an appropriate place to post a reply by using the "go to:" links at the bottom of every post. The "go to:" links take you, in increasingly larger hops, up the page.
"parent" takes you to the post that the one you are reading is a reply to.
"OP" takes you to the Original Post, the first post of the thread the post you are reading is in.
"topic" takes you to the topic of discussion.
"top" takes you to the top of the page.

Well, taxes are political so I thought I was under the right place. So do you have a place for cigarette taxes? What am I missing???

It could help if you would have a link to "start a new topic" or have a list of topics that we usually comment on....like taxes. I can't remember for sure, but I remember looking around for a better area to post and couldn't find one and I think I clicked on 'New' to start a new topic, but I guess that meant a new reply?

I moved your 'new taxes' post to Politics. You posted it as a reply to this post (currently the last post on the page). Try what I described above (click 'reply' again, read the descriptions, and follow the links, at the top of the page). In two hops you will find the 'start a new topic' link. Actually any path you take will eventually take you to a new topic link. There are links for starting a new topic at the top of every forum category (try the browse menu at left, use the 'top' link if you are too low on the page to see it). edited
